Cardinals need much more power from the corners

Cardinals need much more power from the corners
Both outfield and infield. They have decent offensive production up the middle. Especially, with Herrera at catcher. Mo needs to go shopping for a power hitter or two at the corners.
Re: Cardinals need much more power from the corners
The one corner can’t even hit the ball…..and you’re worried about power??
Re: Cardinals need much more power from the corners
At the trade deadline, he needs to try to pick up some power at the corners for the future.
Re: Cardinals need much more power from the corners
Yep, Contreras is really struggling. But Arenado and Nootbaar aren't going to produce the needed power. Arenado now has middle infield power and Nootbaar has centerfield power. Walker might have the needed corner outfield power in the future.

Just a few hours ago you said Mo should reverse course and press the button hard on the reset plan. Now you want him to “go shopping” for not one but two established power hitters (without specifying what he could/should use for consideration).
You’re the human weathervane.

Take that, Shady. The corrector always looms.NYCardsFan wrote: ↑09 Apr 2025 19:03 pmJust a few hours ago you said Mo should reverse course and press the button hard on the reset plan. I thought it was pitching?

LOL That clown thinks he's so bright. But he needs everything in black and white. It would be nice for Mo to start the reset now. But if he doesn't, he needs to at the trade deadline for the future. Next, I'll likely hear from my other "corrector", Frenchy. But he's not quite as bold these days the way Contreras is struggling.Cranny wrote: ↑09 Apr 2025 19:07 pmTake that, Shady. Remind me...how much power has Burly shown? How many HR has he hit this season? Is he ideal as a #5 hitter?

Contreras is off to a horrific start. Period.Shady wrote: ↑09 Apr 2025 19:10 pmLOL That clown thinks he's so bright. But he needs everything in black and white. Burly flat-out sucks. Period. He's fat, slow, can't hit lefties, and has no power. Useless player.
Obviously, Oli has faith in Contreras. Who are you to question Oli? How many MLB lineup cards have you filled out? (Does this sound familiar, Marshall?)
Re: Cardinals need much more power from the corners
I'm sorry Master, Burleson still has taken mostly competitive ABs. Your guy, not so much. Many Shady critics won't post their agreement. But they likely know I am speaking the truth.

Busch 3 is not power hitter firendly. I was a proponent of adding Alonso. It will take that kind of hitter to hit for consistent power. No wind flow after ballpark village was built. If they won’t bring in the fence small ball is the likely option.
