He is terrible, they need to bring someone else up to replace him.

I'll also add, that if we have another extra inning game this season, it'll be too soon.

I honestly don’t care if they keep Roycroft or notAlex Reyes Cy Young wrote: ↑09 Apr 2025 15:21 pmHe is terrible, they need to bring someone else up to replace him.
because the managing/coaching screwups make him a moot point!

Who is the teams long reliever in the pen?
That's right, it is Matz! You leave him in the f'n game!

If they have another one I suggest locking Marmol in the broom closet to give themselves a chance to win. He is a hoodoo.Strummer Jones wrote: ↑09 Apr 2025 15:23 pm I'll also add, that if we have another extra inning game this season, it'll be too soon.

So the players fail to come through given chance after chance and of course, it's always Marmols fault. This loss is solely on the players and their lack of execution in the big situstions. The hitting has been good but today it wasnt. It happens. I do agree that Roycroft needs to go down. The options in AAA can't be any worse than he is right now.MIDMOBIRDTWO wrote: ↑09 Apr 2025 15:27 pmIf they have another one I suggest locking Marmol in the broom closet to give themselves a chance to win. If oli hadn't ran him out there last night, he could've gone longer today. Lil oli never manages with foresight. He pulled Gray too early and burned his long reliever for 1 inning of work. Total (bleep).Basil Shabazz wrote: ↑09 Apr 2025 15:26 pm Who is the teams long reliever in the pen?

Marmol is the worst manager currently in the major leagues. He has personally lost 4 games already this season and will blow a lot more. He is incompetent.Bob Kunush wrote: ↑09 Apr 2025 15:42 pmSo the players fail to come through given chance after chance and of course, it's always Marmols fault. Really? Because I remember our starting pitcher cruising through the first 6 innings throwing this thing called a no-hitter until the brilliant manager decided he had to put his dirty little fingers on the game and pull him at least 1 and possibly 2 or 3 innings too early. Now, if this were a one-off and Oli had never pulled a cruising starter too early, fine, but this is far from an aberration, it is the Oli norm.Bob Kunush wrote: ↑09 Apr 2025 15:42 pmSo the players fail to come through given chance after chance and of course, it's always Marmols fault. Then pulls matz who is a good long man after one inning to bring in roycroft the human gas can good managers put players and the team in positions to succeed oli does not he puts them in positions where they have to over come his bad managingblackinkbiz wrote: ↑09 Apr 2025 16:28 pmReally? Yep, although Contreras (who's abysmal performance leads back to the manager who refuses to give him a day off or move him out of 2-hole), Nado, and Saggese were all just as culpable for the day's loss.Ozziesfan41 wrote: ↑09 Apr 2025 16:35 pmThen pulls matz who is a good long man after one inning to bring in roycroft the human gas can good managers put players and the team in positions to succeed oli does not he puts them in positions where they have to over come his bad managingblackinkbiz wrote: ↑09 Apr 2025 16:28 pmReally? Oh I know it’s hard win when you have players coaches and managers making bone headed mistakesblackinkbiz wrote: ↑09 Apr 2025 17:45 pmYep, although Contreras (who's abysmal performance leads back to the manager who refuses to give him a day off or move him out of 2-hole), Nado, and Saggese were all just as culpable for the day's loss.Ozziesfan41 wrote: ↑09 Apr 2025 16:35 pmThen pulls matz who is a good long man after one inning to bring in roycroft the human gas can good managers put players and the team in positions to succeed oli does not he puts them in positions where they have to over come his bad managingblackinkbiz wrote: ↑09 Apr 2025 16:28 pmReally? If you make more than your share of bone-headed mistakes and no one is there to smell it, does it really stink?
