Yikes, that sure seemed like a bad send given how dead he was 10 feet before he got there.
Re: GDT: Cards @ Pirates (4/9) ~ 11:35am CDT
As I watched it , a better move than diving over them (the plate was pretty far for the dive to land him on the plate ) I thought he shouldrockondlouie wrote: ↑09 Apr 2025 13:29 pm Shortest distance between two points is a straight line, Saggesse should've just dove over the pile up and he'd have been safe instead of stutter stepping and arcing around them.
have hurdled right over the two guys who were still laying on top of each other . (Been like a low hurdle jump in 2 feet maybe ?)
and then he runs a step or two and dives between the umps legs who was straddling home plate at that time. SAFE !
if you are going to run around the pile, at least go around on the foul side of the players and NOT in the field of play where the other defenders are standing.

Aside from the newly hired B. Brown, this coaching staff + Oli are the pits.

Not real good judgment by the third base coach. Lost the game on that play. Needs to be fired. Now.
Re: GDT: Cards @ Pirates (4/9) ~ 11:35am CDT
Worst base running team in MLB.
Re: GDT: Cards @ Pirates (4/9) ~ 11:35am CDT
Siani is a very fast runner, but my gosh, that play was all in front of Pham who wasn't deep at all. Wow.

Warner showed his ineptness last year. More malfeasance bringing him back. Why pinch hit for Sags? This team, this organization is just dumb. They deserve to lose. Incompetence all across the board.

He must have read cards talk and saw himself getting slammed for not sending Donovan home when he would have been out by a mile on even a decent throw you’ve got to take the chance they said even if you are out by a mile. So he did and now he gets slammed for that also lol hilarious
