However, I kind of feel like the Blues will be hungover and not sharp from the streak. Edmonton is a trip up game. I would like to be wrong and win against Edmonton. Also, we don't have our full lineup.
Context of the game is important. Edmonton is fully disarmed right noe. They are by far our easiest game left and i feel most confident about this game unless mcdavid or daraisaitl returns.

Blues will be fresh without pessure of streak and against a much easier team than we faced in jets. To be clear, a fully heakthy edmonton is a good team, but their current team isnt representative of that

And losing all the players they are is more devastating to them than the injuries to the blues. The blues have been a team of few superstars and just a lotnof talented deoth that soreads scoring. Edmonton has always been a top heavy team and their top heavy guys they rely on are out. Their uszal next best guys hyman and nugent hopkins are having down years. We are facing off a team of basically all 3rd/4th Iiner guys.

The oilers are also a gatiged team. They just played anaheim with obly 19 players because of injuries and couldnt call anyone up because of the cap(without putting soneone on long term injured reserve) they may get an emergency callup after playing short(i dont knkw bow the rules for that work), but this is a team decimated by their injuries.

Crazy ending in Dallas..... Nucks weren't supposed to win that one either, especially not that way.

I view all 3 teams the blues have left to play as no sure or easy bet.

Blues have to play like they assume that the Flames and Wild will win out. The playoffs essentially start now.

Stars threw this game.
That was a massive loss for the Stars.

They now stay 5 points back of Winnipeg with a game in hand.

If you are Dallas you would think you would do everything you can take over the top spot so your first round matchup isn't Colorado.

I don't think they lose to Colorado, but that's a far worse matchup than what it would be against Minny or Calgary.
That last minute might have been the sloppiest bit of hockey I’ve ever seen. It looked like Dallas suddenly forgot how to close gaps or clear pucks. A little puck luck was involved, sure, but holy moly. If I’m a stars fan I’m more than a little concerned with whatever the heck that was supposed to be.
Did they borrow Faulk for the last minute?

It’s almost like it happens to other teams as well and it’s not just because of him.

Come on, netboy65, get real. It ONLY happens to us and it ONLY happens when Faulk is on the ice.

Worth noting, vancouver cant catch us anymore cuz they had to win all games in regulation to catch us and it went to overtime allowing us security on them only being able to tie our regulation wins while losing row vs us. They arent eliminated cuz they can still catch minnesota if minny only gets 1 more point.

So they are in the "so your saying there's a chance" realm, but reality says they are done.

Either way, we only need to worry about calgary and minnesota now

oh yeah. I stopped worrying about Vancouver about 2 weeks ago. Although that game never should have gone to OT against us or Dallas.
