Yes, you're correct that I made a mistake when I said Oscar instead of Otto.

Re: Dvorsky recalled
Lindstein unfortunately just tried a shot from the center point that was blocked, sending a man in alone on a breakaway behind him, and he scored.
His team is down 2-0 to ASP's team early in Game 2 of their semifinal series. Had a good Game 1 but he might get far less ice time now that he's made a mistake. I feel like they do that with him, unfortunately.

Re: Dvorsky recalled
Found out why Mrsic missed the rest of Game 5 and all of Game 6. Makes sense to me because Fiddler is big and dumb.
Game 7 is tonight against Jecho's teamLater in the first period, a scary moment took place in the corner. Tomas Mrsic delivered a reverse hit on Edmonton defenceman Blake Fiddler. The Oil King rearguard would fall backwards and his skate would clip Mrsic in the face. After being attended to by Raider trainer Duane “Puff” Bartley, Mrsic would leave the game and did not return. There was no update available on his status at the time of publishing.

Re: Dvorsky recalled
(bleep), 5-0 and MBN just straight up posterized Lindstein 1-on-1 on a rush down RW. There is no gentle other way to describe what just happened. MBN has two goals in this game and looks elite. ASP is playing very well, he is Detroit's Lane Hutson. Two high end Detroit prospects on Skelleftea

Dude… two Chris Berman’s in consecutive days.
Snuggsy Bogues and now Duane “Puff” Bartley.
My favorite was from 1985-
Wally “Absorbine” Joiner.

Snuggsy Bogues was mine because the Avs guys so confidently said his nick was Snuggsy but Duane "Puff" Bartley I think is an actual guy. The quote is from a random local Prince Albert article and really only that blurb was of interest so I didn't link it but I could if someone really wants to read about Game 5Harry York 37 wrote: ↑08 Apr 2025 16:02 pm Dude… two Chris Berman’s in consecutive days.

RE: DVORSKY
Is he going to play in the next game?
If so..what line?
What do the rest of the lines look like?

Re: Dvorsky recalled
They need to replace Holloway's Firepower, so, I think so.
As I mentioned earlier, there is no one player who can replace Holloway's offensive creativity and desire. Keeping Snuggerud on the top line and adding DD to the Third- in total... might come close. M Joseph is a stout-hearted goddanged yeoman, but he scores on accident.
The catch with my idea is that Kyrou will still be moping on the second line. He needs to motivate his own self, nowadays.

I don't even care what the lines are, but we need to see this formation on the PP:Harry York 37 wrote: ↑08 Apr 2025 16:59 pmThey need to replace Holloway's Firepower, so, I think so.

Snugg(Ovechkin spot) - Schenn/Sunny/Neighbours in front of net/low - Dvorsky(Tarasenko spot)
Fowler(QB) - Anyone else in bumper or just moving around wherever

Re: Dvorsky recalled
Kyrou never had had great chemistry with Schenn...and doesn't seem to have it with Jake either...think you have to drop Jake to third and put Dvorsky on the second. Question is do you have Joseph play on the 4th and give Torp a day off or Walker? Torp hasn't played up to last year in a while. A break might be good for him. Remind him he should be more physical on the 4th line. Walker may just need to rest a little bit before being a wrecking ball in the playoffsHarry York 37 wrote: ↑08 Apr 2025 16:59 pmThey need to replace Holloway's Firepower, so, I think so.

Re: Dvorsky recalled
After tomorrow’s game they only play 2 games in 8 days which should help them get some rest as well. Best case they win tomorrow night and Calgary losses than they have two games to sub people in.
Re: Dvorsky recalled
I agree with DD on the second line. Basically he takes Holloway's spot with Schenn and Kyrou. This way DD doesn't have the added responsibilities of playing center over wing. And the Blues had Thomas play on the wing when he first came up and that worked out well.StLouis-4Life2 wrote: ↑08 Apr 2025 17:41 pmKyrou never had had great chemistry with Schenn...and doesn't seem to have it with Jake either...think you have to drop Jake to third and put Dvorsky on the second. Would look like:
Buch-Thomas-Snugg
DD-Schenn-Kyrou
Jake-Sunny-Bolduc
Torp-Faska-Walker

The dynamism of the second line was largely catalyzed by Holloway's speed which DD doesn't have. Dvorsky isn't a burner like him so it could change the effectiveness of that line.

The Happy Ending would be if Kyrou decides to take over the driver's seat on that line. For a good while, JK was having a blast feeding Hollloway for goals.seattleblue wrote: ↑09 Apr 2025 10:13 am The dynamism of the second line was largely catalyzed by Holloway's speed which DD doesn't have. Do you reckon that we could see Kyrou as the blazing fast first forechecker, creating chaos for Dvo and Schenn to capitalize on for turnovers?
Kyrou has evolved as a checker so very greatly... it could happen.
