He didn't get fired after a 90 loss season. I'd say it'd take 100 losses and empty seats most of the summer. Even then, this owner doesn't like to hurt anyone's feelings, so who knows?

Not only did he not get fired but he got an extension with a personal guarantee to not feel any pressure to win or be successful

He won’t be gone until Bloom has the reigns

I knew it wouldn't take long for the so called "Cardinal fans" to start the negative posts.

Define "Cardinal fan".

I wouldn't be shocked if Bloom has "his" guy that he's thinking about for the manager's seat.

Apparently it’s by not saying anything negative at all, regardless of how bad things are or how true the statement is

Just because cardinal fans tell the facts does not make them negative. There is not much positive to talk about or obviously with empty seats at busch to go see.

Unless he is arrested for a crime or takes a mid-game dump on the mound, he will not be fired. And contrary to many on here, I'm not convinced Bloom makes a change.

To be fair, a lot of us have long lost confidence in Marmol's ability to manage effectively at this level. If I'm to be proven wrong, that's great. I'll cheer him on in the playoffs. If I'm right, I'd prefer to have him fired tomorrow and move on with a better manager.

Scratch that one. He does that every fifth day when he puts mikolas out there and still hasn’t gotten fired

Define "Cardinal fan".
Also define 'negative posts' and then tell us why we should be positive. Beyond ''the future may be bright" I'm not seeing much to be positive about.

In NFL football, it’s very commonplace that a new GM wants his own head coach to run the team.
Bloom want that new look moving forward.
If Oli goes , you want the new guy to have his coaching staff he knows and likes.
The holdovers I would keep are Brant Brown, Jon Jay, and possibly Stubby.
No Pops, Dusty, and Descalso (as new manager wants his own right hand man ).
Get a high energy manager who has a sense of humor and isn’t surly like Oli

Yeah, it's entirely possible that DeWitt has told Bloom he will have to work with Oli and if a change is made, DeWitt will decide when/if that is. I think he's here for the foreseeable future.
