Wild win after a terrible call in OT gifted them a PP
A wild player skated into the back of a stars player who wasn’t even looking at him and fell down, refs called the stars for a trip.

I completely disagree. Robertson knew exactly what he was doing, even the announcers noticed it. He cost his team the game with the bone headed stunt.ZouMiz2424 wrote: ↑06 Apr 2025 16:49 pm A wild player skated into the back of a stars player who wasn’t even looking at him and fell down, refs called the stars for a trip.

Robertson knew. The look on his face screamed I did it.
MN and Calgary weren’t going to keep gifting us losses forever. We are still two up on MN and even in games. If I would have told you we’d be in this spot before the four nations you would think I’m crazier than I already am.

Nah George. I don't think you are crazy, a little eccentric maybe.George Zipp wrote: ↑06 Apr 2025 17:02 pm Robertson knew. The look on his face screamed I did it.

All in good fun bro.

Had Wild losing this one…think their win today against Dallas may keep the Blues from securing the top Wild Card spot down the road…if the Wild secure top spot…this will be the game that righted their ship.

Ha. Just take care of our own business. Tomorrow nights game worries me. Edm, even without the studs isn’t going to be easy. I’d be happy with a point out of those two, thrilled with 2/4 at this stage.Aesa wrote: ↑06 Apr 2025 17:06 pmNah George. Just get in.
Once in, I don't really care who this team plays.
Hate Vegas with a passion but I look at it as a chance to knock them off.
Jets? A Midwest show down.
Brang it.

Re: Wild win after a terrible call in OT gifted them a PP
Blues are in a space where getting in is everything. Yes we want to make a run and it would be a cool story if something happened. But without Parayko playing at the level he went down, and you assume the same for Holloway (you don’t just return to form after injury) it’s hard to see how the team stacks up in a best of series against the top teams. We are winning by committee which makes my comment mean nothing, but the reason the blues give star powered teams like the oils issues in the past, is because Parayko can disrupt their top guy. Mcdavid said it in the past, one of his least liked guys to play against is Parayko.
Blues need to get in because they are building for the future. These young guys who are being elevated in bigger roles like snuggs bolduc neighbours broberg need to feel what’s it’s like to play another top team 4 nights in a row 60 minutes.

Tomorrow will be a tough game. One of the fews things we have in our favor is that Kaprizov is out with an injury.
Our defense has been playing rather well without Parayko but Holloway being out could be a big issue. I have faith in the new kids, they are playing well. A little puck luck and they might be able to pull this off and turn the streak from 12 to 13.
Fingers crossed!
