Munoz should never be a starting pitcher again. And gray and fedde arent gonna get renoved after 1 bad start. The guy probably in most danter is liberatore(i dont believe in miles mikolas either but im not sure they will be quick to demote him even if deserved, but he pitched fine his first start)

I, too, like Munoz in the bullpen. Also, after pitching well in ST, Tekoah Roby had an impressive first outing for Springfield. Hope he can stay healthy and build up some endurance. At 23, he has a chance to be in a future rotation for the St Louis Cardinals.

Two posters having a baseball conversation and it gets hijacked...very rude and pathetic.

It looks like Pallante will be fine, for now. However, some adjustments need to be made before the season gets out of hand. ex. give Roddery Munoz a chance.

What do you mean "for now"? In the 2nd half of 2024, Pallante was as good as just about anyone in baseball. He might be the least suspect of anyone on the staff.

What did y’all expect with the same type of pitcher in descending talent order
Gray
Fedde
Miles
These guys throw low 90’s at best and if teams aren’t chasing their junk then they get tattooed because they can throw over the plate
Then Pallente who might be a 5
And Matz/Libatore
Who are subpar lefties.
So why even roll this OLD staff out when you should be giving the kids a shot??

Starters and relievers. Man, some of these guys need to be bagging groceries.

Will the Cardinals eat a bunch of salary they have invested in some veteran pitchers and actually do a much needed starting pitcher reset? McGreevy, Mathews for starters. Then, possibly, Roby and Munoz as long shots later this season and for the future. Hjerpe may also merit a chance. Or, possibly, trade a position player for a starting pitcher.
