OT: Minor League Updates (4/5) ~ Cards System

Post by Shady »

I've pinpointed Munoz at Memphis and Roby at Springfield as up and comers. Both have been very impressive. We'll see how it goes from here.

You haven't "pinpointed" or "discovered" anyone or anything. Roby was widely recognized as the more valuable asset (as compared to Saggese) at the time of the Montgomery trade. The issue was (and is) his injury history and ongoing risk, which is why they were able to get him in exchange for just the last two months of Montgomery's expiring contract. Further, Munoz pitched 82 MLB innings last season and had 17 starts, he's not some unknown.

Get over yourself--you're not the super-scout you imagine yourself to be. You make wild, exaggerated claims about prospects and offer ridiculous comps, then sweep everything under the rug and just move on to the next when you're (predictably) proven wrong.
