It's classic narcissistic behavior: So self-centered that they have an overwhelming need to be right, so they spout bull[shirt] repeatedly until proven wrong (which they often are). Then they antagonize others and change the narrative in an attempt to still be right. I feel bad, not for him, but if he happens to have a significant other and/or children. Although I doubt he does because not many can stand to be around or with a narcissist for very long.

Barbashev had zero goals and 2 assists in the same amount of games and was a minus 6.
Robert Thomas, in the same amount of games, had 2 goals and 4 assists and was, also, a minus 6.
