FanDuel has announced that Sweeny will be analyst for about 40 games in the booth with Chip and then do 40 games in the studio.

I like Sweeny analysis and delivery . Just my opinion but I prefer him over Brad Thompson .
Like his voice plus he has 13 years experience doing San Diego Padres telecasts. Nice personality.

In the article attached below, he says the 40 games in booth and 40 studio is good mix for him. Brad will do about 110 games in the booth.
Sweeny says that many (110 games ) would be a grind for him .

Have a feeling if Sweeney reviews to Fanduel rate higher than Brad then in 2026, they will expand his games more. He seems not to want full time gig but U would guess. In 2026 instead of 110 Brad and 40 Mark , we could see. 100-50 split Or 95-55
A 90- 60 split would really be telling.
