WTH?

but it worked out despite that
He was on the ice for over 2 mins. I’m was surprised he was left on after the previous whistle.
Glad the team won.
Hofer scares me.
Snuggerud looks better than I thought he would.

Yeah. A lot more polish than I expected. Skating is good, hands are super, very quick release, hard accurate shot, and it looks like he has great poise and hockey sense.

Agree. His game around the puck is more than I expected. Can't wait to see him finally see the openings on the ice to get that shot going.

It helps when Dad played in the NHL. He got pointers and little things that others don’t get until they get there. Plus, I’m sure Dad has friends/former teammates who also psssed things on.

Lets win this in OT!
Faulk was of no help on the play.
Faulks job was to be between the player on the corner and the one who scored which he was. Faulk had to go out to the other player which left the guy who scored open behind him. He just needed to block the pass or get help from the backside which never came. It was still a poor attempt by Hofer.

In the end it likely doesn't matter that the Blues went OT. Hate to see them get beat up, they have a gauntlet to run and they need to keep winning.

Ducks are down 3-1 to Calgary after 2 in Calgary.

This may sound like sour grape because Holloway’s injury, but the Pen played a dirty game. Schenn gets cross checked in lower back when he jumps in the air (no call). Sunny gets sticked in the face and loses a few false teeth (4 min PP). Sutter gets slashed 3 times by Crosby (no call). Holloway gets hurt, but that was a clean hip check. Then Torpochenko gets forearmed to the face (no call).

Hofer was channeling his inner Jake Allen .. over sliding his angles and it cost 'em a coupla times

I do get Allen vibes from Hofer.

Thats not a bad thing, Allen has had a solid career, but he's defo not a 50+ games per year starter.
