Somebody else pointed out that it did not look like a knee. I thought maybe a shoulder injury because he got hit along the board and kind of collapse there but did skate off on his own

They are calling it a lower body injury

Worried about it being a dislocated hip. The hip check that guy did caught him mid stride on the back of his hip. Could be out till the playoffs if that is the case

Graves better keep his head up.

Timmons is about the only guy on their roster who is a plus player.

Well Federko just said it apparently happened in the first period? I missed the first few minutes of the second period so assumed it was then.

It seems likely precautionary or day to day if it happened in the first because there was no trainer checking anyone out on the bench or anything and he seemed to walk off to the dressing room on his own.

Just a guess but seems fitting.

Lower body, ok.

We certainly need to take advantage of these penalties and have not, and I hope that doesn’t come back to burn us. You know how referees like to “even things out”

It's really hard for me to tell how serious it is. He was able to skate off hunched a bit rather than needing a ton of help to get off, so in that sense theres a chance it's not quite as seirous as it could've been. However, sometimes things look innocent and end up worse, so just gotta wait and see.

It looked like just a normal hip check, but Holloway immediately bent over so you knew something was wrong. Looked like it was a hip or rib type injury.
