Does anyone actually buy this insurance?
They have spent mega money on Blues advertising this year. Every break is playing again all year long. You guys better be buying a bunch of Car Shield insurance to pay for it all.

I haven’t taken the plunge yet I have aging cars
Re: Car Shield
Just buy a 2006 Toyota Camry. It'll last forever.

Re: Car Shield
The last insurance company that pumped tons of money in commercials during the Blues games and sponsored Nascar was US Fidelis out of St. Charles. From what I remember they were arrested and closed down for fraud. Extended warranties are never a good buy.

Re: Car Shield
I don't know if the company itself was bad, but what got them shut down was the owners were embezzling.
They were kind of the original extended warranty company, started here in St. Louis, by a former felon.
They made a lot of money really quickly, and were quite the success story.
The owner started to make this ridiculously huge mansion out in Lake St. Louis, by Nelly's I believe, and when his lifestyle was starting to outlive what his income was is when they started investigating him.
Don't think the mansion ever got finished.

Re: OT: Car Shield
Pete Alonso of the Mets advertised for Car Shield, at least in the NYC area. That seemed like a red flag.
Re: OT: Car Shield
It took me quite a while to figure out why Army was selling Car Shield as the owner of Car Shield before I figured out the guy in the commercial wasn't Army.
Kept thinking, isn't he busy enough?
