Dodgers 8-0 Braves 0-7
Ohtani hits a walkoff HR vs the Braves.
Braves took a 5-3 lead into the 8th and gave up 2 and then Ohtani hits a HR to win it.
Edman hit his 4th HR of the season in the 2nd inning, too.
Braves nearly doubled their season total in runs scored and still lost.
It's gotta be a tough time right now in Braves country.

So sick of the dodgers in general. If anyone surprises them in the playoffs and beats them I hope it's us (yeah I know I know lol)
Such a predictable ending to that game

The best start by a defending champion in MLB history.
Shohei's bobblehead night, no less...and he walks it off, after the Dodgers once trailed 5-2.
Yet another Hollywood ending. Like Jack Buck's Kirk Gibson 1988 WS HR call: "I don't believe what I just saw! Is this really happening???".

I said before the season started the dodgers could challenge for the wins record in a season and it’s looking like if a team manages to win just one game against them in a series they will feel like they won the series

Braves are reeling after rough roadie thru San Diego and LA
They will get to beat up on Marlins at home this weekend but they look very shaky

NL West is looking good so far - the Padres are 7-0 and the Giants are 5-1.Baseball Savant wrote: ↑02 Apr 2025 22:39 pm Braves are reeling after rough roadie thru San Diego and LA

The most expensive team in the history of the game is 8-0?
Stop the presses.

Obviously still a ways from this but, if nothing is done to address the Dodgers ability to not only spend a 350mil/year and defer another billion at the same time, and they do in fact start winning 120+ games a year, I wonder if teams would start protesting by forfeiting every game against them.
If they want to spend this much on AAV I have np with it, it's the allowance of deferred money that really irks me.
Never wish an injury on someone but how about a 0 fatality plane crash that breaks 40 legs and 40 arms.
