I heard he's skating and traveling.....and not much else.
I'd love to see him in a few games before the year ends.....knowing that he would be 100% before doing so.
Anyway...has any one heard any indication or plans for his return?
And congrats to the Blues efforts...D and forwards......for filling in so dam good.

Re: Colton
the normal timeframe for his injury puts him back the 3rd week of april. I kinda think that if it was all hands on deck to make the playoffs, he could probably return about now at 80%. But we don't need him to currently, so he hasn't.
While i haven't heard anything, i think if we can take care of business against Pittsburgh and win one of the next two against Colorado or Winnipeg, i'd personally target the last two games of the year. If we look like we're running out of steam against Pittsburgh and Colorado, might see him sooner.

Re: Colton
They basically said he is skating but still a couple weeks away. I doubt they bring him back until he is near 100%, but it would be nice to get a few games in before the playoffs. Maybe fly him out for the Seattle game since we have an odd 3 day break right before the last game of that west coast series. That will give him 2 games to get back up to game speed, and the winning streak will be at 14 days.

Not for every body but man Thomas came back and played day 1 like he never missed a beat.rezero wrote: ↑02 Apr 2025 19:55 pm They basically said he is skating but still a couple weeks away. Players are different in this regard....and the injury type likely matters too.

Two games to get back to game speed & the benefit of having six weeks off to rest his body, and avoid the wear & tear especially on his back. This may be a real blessing in disguise for him & the team.rezero wrote: ↑02 Apr 2025 19:55 pm They basically said he is skating but still a couple weeks away.
