You act like this stuff only happens to the Cardinals due to bad management, roster construction, lineup construction, bullpen usage, or whatever gripe of the day fits your agenda.

In truth, stuff like this happens every single day all over the league. Good pitchers have bad innings. Good hitters hit well. Bad pitchers have good innings. Bad hitters have good games.

It's baseball, man. 162 games. They're not all gonna go smoothly.

Web7 told me a few years ago he's a high level legion ball coach, so he knows way more than us about baseball.

In addition, I feel bad for any kid that has to play for a coach that thinks like this guy.

There may be a few things that could have been better, in hindsight, but the play of Contreras and the "awful bullpen" did not cost the Cards this game today... LOTS to like what you saw in Busch III today...!
