Thank you! I wanted to look that up and that was my point earlier.TheJackBurton wrote: ↑02 Apr 2025 11:37 amSince the 4 Nations he is the 5th highest scoring PLAYER in the NHL. He's scored more points than the following:
Jack Eichel
Jason Robertson
Connor McDavid
Austin Matthews
Kyle Connor
Artemi Panarin
David Pasternak
Matthew Ktachuk
So yes, his points might be 19th total in centers, but he missed 12 games. If he just scored at a ppg pace in the missed games(below his current pace) he would be at 81 pts in 76 games. That would have him tied for 10th overall in scoring and 4th overall at center.
I think he's well above the 19th position.

Finding Their Place:
Bolduc – Likely a 2nd-tier forward with a chance to break into the 1st tier. He reminds me of Barbashev, though with a better shot. However, he still needs to reach Barbashev's level of physicality and consistency in his game. He has the ability to find quiet ice, reminiscent of how Hull would, but needs to add a bit more to his overall game.
Snuggerud – Likely a 2nd-tier player unless he can model his game after Holloway. He excels in rush offense but struggles when the play slows down. Snuggerud needs to work on finding those quiet spaces on the ice, like Bolduc, and develop more off-the-puck awareness. While he has a solid skill set, I question whether he can develop the same relentless puck determination that Holloway possesses. If he can make those adjustments, he could break into the 1st tier, but my opinion is he will be a limited scorer, similar to Kyrou.
Dvorsky – 1st-tier potential with a chance to drop to the 2nd tier. Dvorsky isn't as fast as Thomas, but he has all the other key attributes. His shot is arguably better than Thomas’ in terms of power, though it’s less refined overall. Dvorsky’s superior hockey IQ and poise with the puck make him an ideal candidate to slot in with Holloway and Thomas in the near future.

I'd drop Holloway to tier 2. In terms of overall performance and game breaking potential he and Kyrou are at the same level. Buchy is better than his stats this season.ChooseBlues wrote: ↑02 Apr 2025 12:21 pm Thomas is the most talented player on the Blues and it is obvious.

Bolduc. I don't see Barbashev. Barbs was a guided missile who became a hockey player, Bolduc has approached this from the other direction. I see more offensive upside in Bolduc.
Snuggerud. Really, he could be anything from Hoffman to Hull, though I don't believe another Hull could happen in today's NHL. I don't think we really know what he will become, how hard he will work to become whatever that is. He can shoot the puck and he has had success at high levels, but so did Perunovich. Holloway? I haven't ever seen him skate like that. No, Snuggs probably needs the puck to come to him moreso than digging and creating, beating players with his feet. We'll see. The shot is elite.
Dvorsky. I do agree he has 1st tier potential, until he doesn't. Want to see more of him. He doesn't strike me as a player who carries the puck through zones but one who can work with the puck in tight spaces. He has some blue collar work ethic in him. A younger Schenn?
Re: Thomas
Stat wise? He is #10 ppg and also note that when you look at center stats on NHL.com Kyrou is one of them and so is Bolduc.
#1 also plays on wing with #3 a lot

Re: Thomas
Snuggs looked like he has more potential to drive play than I expected based on reading this forum. I thought several times when he had the puck it had that game breaker feel.DawgDad wrote: ↑02 Apr 2025 13:06 pmI'd drop Holloway to tier 2. It was one game, but the puck comes off Snuggy’s stick like a bullet, the biggest thing is he still gets pushed around fairly easily, that’ll come with age and offseason work.DawgDad wrote: ↑02 Apr 2025 13:06 pmI'd drop Holloway to tier 2. Can he put on 15 lbs with more muscle and keep what he has??
