Chance of Rain
Good morning.
My first question is- has game been cancelled?
If not, an active Tornado Watch and a chance for storms beginning at 1 pm. Once rain gets here, will be hours.
Seems they might want to save fans the trouble of traveling on very wet roads, blinding rain, and money.
Further south flood watches for most of southern missouri, west Illinois, ne Arkansas west Kentucky. An epic rain event may occur- 8 to 15 inches of rain.
Any thoughts on a developing situation.

Darn it. Off golf today and can watch the game. I hope it happens
Re: Chance of Rain
St. Louis and surrounding area is under a tornado watch. I look for the game to be called off shortly.

Re: Chance of Rain
Be a shame as American League Angels sole visit here. Right ?
Causes make up game issue.
Tornadic winds ‘blowing out’ may take Walkers 400 ft. bomb yesterday and be a 600 ft. Blast today.
Maybe Winn would hit pop up on infield blow over the OF wall.

there's game 1 of my 80-80 record prediction. 2 games that were PPD, won't/can't be made up.

Re: Chance of Rain
if the game means nothing in the playoff race, nothing in the draft order, and has no available date/time prior to close of regular season, then the game won't be made up. Otherwise, the game will be made up 1 day after close of season.sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑02 Apr 2025 10:02 amOf note- if we are late season making up this game, that means we probably are in the race, or why bother.
Re: Chance of Rain
I posted this in the GDT also. Didn't see this one.
They can move this game to 5/29 if needed.
It seems to work smoothly for both teams.
Or they could wait it out since both teams are off tomorrow.

Probably what they'll try to do. Although, tomorrow's weather looks bad too. I'm told that they don't have rainouts anymore, just suspended games, so maybe over two days they can get the game in.

I don't know what St. Louis is calling for, but down here in wky were expecting 3-4 inches tomorrow and 8-10 thru Sat morning.Ordinary Man wrote: ↑02 Apr 2025 10:19 amProbably what they'll try to do. Good God, I hope we don't get THAT! My phone's weather app shows a bit higher % chance of rain tomorrow than today and a bit cooler too. I'm sure they're mulling their options over right now. Start the game if possible and see what happens, and use tomorrow if necessary. I can't WAIT to see today's attendance!wkycards wrote: ↑02 Apr 2025 10:23 amI don't know what St. Louis is calling for, but down here in wky were expecting 3-4 inches tomorrow and 8-10 thru Sat morning.Ordinary Man wrote: ↑02 Apr 2025 10:19 amProbably what they'll try to do.
