Seems a surprising move considering the last guy made such noise about lack of resources. Could just be that Willard simply isn’t good enough to match the excellence that Gary Williams brought about for a while there but I would’ve pegged Maryland for a young up and comer.

Unsettled times at Maryland. AD Damon Evans left two weeks ago for SMU where they have a resident billionaire to take care of resources. I assume Evans got a nice bump.

Seems aTm is a BB graveyard - lot of decent coaches have gone through their turnstiles. Buzz was definately one of the more successful. Buzz seems to have a knack about knowing when to leave it seems.

Glad he’s out of the conference. Weird move for buzz. Can’t imagine Maryland has more basketball money than a&m. Scott van pelt most be donating big
