Winn is hopelessly, pathetically lost at the plate. Contreras is of course struggling as well, but he had a productive ST and I’m sure will break out of it. I’m not so confident about Winn. He hasn’t hit a lick since day one of spring training. Maybe a little time in Memphis would help.

Not sure the Angel fans want Odell back in CF.

All 3 walks have scored. Dang it!!!

I'll go back to the "Old School Ways" that late in the game, no doubles down the line. Why are team no longer doing that including the Cardinals.

I've been saying the same thing for a couple years now.

...<sigh>...same old Mikolas treatment... pitches a 2-hitter thru 5 1/2 innings, with Schanuel getting both hits. Leaves the game in the 6th, and BP can't hold the lead in the 7th. Angels opportunistic with 3 runs on 3 hits... Offense gotta go back to work...

Winn’s last at bat.

Pitch 1/ Took 72 mph breaking ball that was strike
Pitch 2- swung at 93 above zone. Chased high
So 0-2 count rather than 1-1

Pitvh 3- low inside slider 86 chases Gould off
Count still 0-2. Could be 2-1 if no chasing
Pitch 4 - 95 fast ball even higher than pitch 2
Winn chases high striking out on 4 pitches

Only pitch in strike zone was pitch 1.,,
3 balls 1 strike in that at bat.
No wonder he is hitless …expanding zone like nuts
