Kids have attended School
There’s been weather
Games have started around 7pm
Games have been on Holidays
And when theres been an exciting winning team……..with an ownership that seemed to give 2 chits……Busch Stadium has been mostly full
But now that the team hasn’t been winning or playing exciting baseball with an owner who seems to no longer care to win…..attendance is solely affected by the items listed above![]()
Right now of the 16 teams with a home game, we have the biggest decrease yoy per game (-6,363) outside of TB.
And if that pace kept for us, it would put our attendance at 2.36 million for the season. And if everything else stayed the same that puts us around 17th in the game.
In other words ownership better hope the team keeps playing like they have or they could be looking at a bottom half team in attendance.
So sad.
By the way, Red, I always step forward with the things "I like" that the Cardinals are doing, and the things "I don't care for".
I don't have a "love for ownership". but I do appreciate some of the Cardinals best baseball in their history this century - with 2 world titles, 3 World Series appearances, and only two losing seasons. Where do the Cardinals rank in regular season wins and playoff wins this century - 3rd perhaps? Top 10%?
I guess the forecast thunderstorms had nothing to do with it.
Flip - Flop.

Top 10%?![]()

We liked people with positive attitudes. We weeded out negative people after we put them on probation if they didn’t change their ways.
Bringing it back to management: if you’re giving Mo a current performance review, would you base it on goals he accomplished 10-15 years ago? Of course not.
Re: Attendance
No. A number of things didn't work out. It started with Piscotty and Grichuk not becoming the OFers that most thought they were going to be. Other guys were brought in but didn't care for the attitudes of some St. Louisans. They trieddesertrat23 wrote: ↑31 Mar 2025 18:01 pmOf course. I wouldn't have to continue to excel or work hard, because I worked hard 10-15 years ago and that's good enough. Those annual performance reviews would be a snap!Cranny wrote: ↑31 Mar 2025 11:42 amOf course advance ticket sales are going to be down when there are several non playoff years in a row. What do you expect. Duh.OldRed wrote: ↑31 Mar 2025 10:35 amI tell the truth. I just believe your love for ownership and the excuses you make. You know yourself most of the paid tickets are from pre-season sales.Cranny wrote: ↑31 Mar 2025 10:29 amYou poor thing. And that is unjustly affected by TB being in a minor league park vs MLB park (a 10,815 difference per game).
So sad.

Ozuna who was coming off a fabulous year, but didn't keep him, as he became healthy. Then they traded for Goldy and
Arenado, who they thought would lead them deep into October. That didn't happen.

Too many spoiled, fair-weather fans. Maybe BDJr. should move the team to Montreal.WLTFE wrote: ↑31 Mar 2025 19:53 pmI'm in Section 148 row 22...there's a lot of empty seats...vegascardsfan5890 wrote: ↑31 Mar 2025 18:46 pm What's the attendance today? Looks to be barely 10,000
