Good morning.
What an improvement. I couldn’t find stats for game three. They are fifth in baseball and third in NL with two strike hits.
Arenado is tied for third with five. The leaders have seven. I haven’t checked risp. That’s next.
Enjoy.
Third in average-.306, sixth in runs and rbi, second in least strike out. Seventh OPS
Cards have 19 K’s, Cubs have 55. Dodgers 43.
Cards 11 two strike hits thru two games.

Is it too early to give Brant Brown some credit?

Would be huge if that K rate remains low. Hit the ball hard, put it in play and good things happen.

So correct. The exact opposite of K is spray. Anytime the little white ball is in play, anything can happen. No so on a whiff.RamFan08NY wrote: ↑31 Mar 2025 07:53 am Would be huge if that K rate remains low. Hit the ball hard, put it in play and good things happen.

To be fair, the Cubs have played 6 games and the Dodgers have played 5 while the Cardinals have played 3. But Cubs K% is 23.8% (9th highest in baseball) and Dodgers 23.4% (T-12th highest), while Cardinals is 16.8% (4th lowest). And the Cardinals faced a team that had the 2nd best K/9 in baseball last year.sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑31 Mar 2025 07:45 am Good morning.

I knew that and even typed it but decided to let someone else provide the extra games data.Futuregm2 wrote: ↑31 Mar 2025 08:58 amTo be fair, the Cubs have played 6 games and the Dodgers have played 5 while the Cardinals have played 3.
