I recorded the game and only in top 3rd but this umpire today has been horrible. He has called many strikes well out of the zone. Umpires can cause hitters slumps by making them swing at (bleep) well out of the zone. The electric stike zone needs to be implemented this is ridiculous.

Lol. Blaming humps for slumps...I think it's in their union contract

I am not saying Cardinals. I am saying horrible umps in general can cause player slumps not just Cardinals players by having them extend the strike zone swinging at pitches that are well out of the zone. The umps are not near as accurate as the electronic strike zone. It is stupid at this point to use umps to call balls and strikes.

Fedde having a good start

He is. There was so much angst on this board about Fedde. I still think he should have been traded for prospects but until then we can enjoy a good mid-rotation pitcher.

In a league where mid-rotation, mid-thirties two TJ surgery Eovaldi could score a 3/75 contract I believe Fedde could net better than a AAAA type. If you disagree, fine, but don't be disingenuous.

I’m certainly not opposed to trading Fedde if the return is good.
I just don’t get why so many feel we HAVE to trade him??
I understand that he will be approaching free agency.
But....if he has a good year and finds a home here keep him.
He may not be a #2 SP but that is not on him.
