VS II gets punched out on strikes, and the first strike was a ball by a little too and the punch out strike was way outside, and, somehow, Oli Marmol is still in this game. WTF. I'm only watching game day on the computer, did Marmol even come out to argue?

He's a garbage pitcher. So glad the Crew picked him upvegascardsfan5890 wrote: ↑29 Mar 2025 13:22 pm Former Cardinal farmhand Connor Thomas greeted with a grand slam by Aaron Judge in his major league debut

Crazy, such a great way to create problems for the defense and create runs.

Like the bunt, it's hardly ever used, league wide. Probably because very few can handle the bat well anymorerockondlouie wrote: ↑29 Mar 2025 14:04 pmCrazy, such a great way to create problems for the defense and create runs.

Who's overreacting?Wattage wrote: ↑29 Mar 2025 12:42 pmIts 2 freaking games. He will be the first guy in the lineup when many of these players receive offdays. Most our guys wont start more than 130 games and donovan can move arpund to cover others offdays opening a spot for gorman. Between 30 games off for contreras, donovan, burly, walker, noot, and winn, thats 180 games if they dont sit on the same day. Thats more than enough to get gorman some decent playing time. Stop overreacting to 2 games.Monsieur De Treville wrote: ↑29 Mar 2025 12:29 pmExactly. Still only 24...needs to play everyday, either here or in Memphis.Whatashame wrote: ↑29 Mar 2025 11:10 am I’m not disagreeing with the lineup but we aren’t helping Gorman by sitting him. If he isn’t going to play, send him down where he gets everyday ABs in Memphis. Everyday reps at 2B-3B are beneficial too.
He's 24. Needs regular ABs. If not here, then in Memphis. If he gets 500 ABs here...great. If he's a bench player, I feel it's better for any 24 year-old player to be sent down so he can hit every day. Neither a new or radical concept.

Well, in fairness, it wasn't "bottom of the ninth, game on the line," Ryan isn't "stout," and he doesn't have a "wicked slider." So the conditions weren't ripe for success there.

And as i outlined- regular at bats are more than available up in majors. These players will start getting rotating offdays so he cam get some playing time. They just dont need them yet 2 days in. The 10th batter cam still easily get many at bats.Monsieur De Treville wrote: ↑29 Mar 2025 14:06 pmWho's overreacting?Wattage wrote: ↑29 Mar 2025 12:42 pmIts 2 freaking games.
