Do my eyes deceive me or is this the same lineup 2 days in a row!?!??!?
They sure do ! Bet you had to look twice.
If they win today, would Oli dare do it three times in a row?
Do you jinx the winning formula?
Does Oli think. Oh, it’s time to give Gorman a start today?
Or does Oli think. ‘I will play the ‘hot hand’ ! Play same guys til we lose a game.
Good question. Has he learned that sundays, last game of a series, and winning streaks are important. Has he learned you ride a hot hand because at this level you rise above your peers you’re in the zone. You never rest a player who is mentally there.
I’m not disagreeing with the lineup but we aren’t helping Gorman by sitting him. If he isn’t going to play, send him down where he gets everyday ABs in Memphis. Everyday reps at 2B-3B are beneficial too.

Vs right handed pitchers, gorman is the first extra man who will be in the lineup if guys get days off. Donovam will move around and gorman get at bats if walker noot winn arenado contereras(burleson a tually moving 1b and gorman dh), maybe even scott with noot at cf get a day off. Or donovan or burleson gets a day off.
The 10th man usually gets plenty if at bats. I wouldn't react to 2 games. Guys will get days off giving gorman opportunities.
Its ironic people were up in arms and not accepting argument that siani wont get at bats cuz hes 13th position player and hes just taking spot of guy who would rot on bemch without at bats, but now people are panicking and saying gorman should be in memphis cuz he didnt start in 2 games when hes way ahead siani in pcking order for plate appearences

I remember TLR would change the lineup if the Cards had won the series. People on here lambasted him for doing that. I looked up the Cardinals record for the last game of a successful series. One year their winning % was 55%.

What I mean. Seems we take foot off the neck or throttle once we win a series. Nope. That’s when u go for the jugular.

Goldy leading off for Yanks and homers.
Bellinger and Judge follow with homers as well. Back to back to back off Cortez!
