Flames outshot Dallas 48-18. DeSmith, the Stars backup goalie, was a wall in goal for Dallas all night, and made a 10-bell save with about 2:00 left to go! Huge night for DeSmith.

They also had DeSmith beat or down and out several times in the 3rd but couldn't get the puck on net. Blues are lucky on this game.

I really thought Calgary was coming back in that game. After it was over I was thinking about all the luck Vancouver and Calgary has had recently staying in games, then winning late. We had the luck last night so it evens out I guess.
