Kansas becomes the second pre-season #1 to lose in the first round of March Madness. The other team was in 2005. It was Kansas.
That's hilarious.
kansas was number one after beating Washburn and Emporia. They closed the season with a loss in CoMo.

Ole P*ss trying to blow this game. 20-point lead down to 6. Playing their version of the 4 Corners offense has killed all the good offensive rhythm they had going. Can't try to kill the clock with 10 minutes left.
OK, I am officially pulling for Drake now. Beat Texas Tech and then Arky at least! It's unfathomable how Arky reached the Sweet 16 after starting 0-5 in the SEC. I guess because they have a real coach who can adjust to his opponent. And they got lucky to draw St. John's as an overseeded 2, the weakest 2 seed going in. Tennessee, Michigan State and Bama probably would've all been tougher than the Johnnys.
Creighton flamed out it the 2nd half. Auburn was just too good.
The end of the Wisconsin-BYU and Houston-Zags games were wild.
Tonje, who led a big comeback, got the final shot for the Badgers with a couple of seconds left down by 2 driving to the hoop and stopping for a short 2 and air-balled it. Was a tough shot over a BYU big. Ended the game after BYU had multiple TOs in the final 2 minutes.
And the Zags had a chance to tie with a 3 with 13 seconds left, and Battle mishandled the ball and turned it over. The former Arky player was crying after the game. I wasn't.

Yeah its goofy how things turn out the first weekend.
Arky got a nice draw. A faltering ku team and what I thought was an overrated St. John's team.
People can say what they want about Calipari but the guy can coach.

Colo St vs Maryland.
CSU hits 3 with 6 seconds remaining. 71-70 CSU
Terps with 3.7 secs.
Maryland with the buzzer beater to win 72-71. Whew!
Had Colorado ST. upsetting Maryland..oh well.
I did pick Ole Miss to beat the fraud Iowa State. High seed it seems every year and gets knocked out early.

Queen comes through. Wasn't quite ready for the NBA Lottery yet.
Yesterday was very entertaining. I have not taken the time to watch as much college bball in the past as I am doing this year. I hope the SEC teams keep up the good play with a couple exceptions. Mississippi State losing was a bummer. And of course the annual flop by our boys.

Florida and Alabama both rolling in their first halves.
Bama up 10, Gators up 9.
Wouldn't mind seeing both lose..
Update
Halftime Maryland down 2 to Florida.
Bama up 11 starting half #2. If I'm hearing right, Alabama has 11 threes?
