How many contending teams have a viable tender tandem ?

This seems like a rather huge advantage. Habs were rested, but their guy Montembeault plays just about every game. He got 'solved' tonite. They had no option.

I also wonder how this team, as presently constituted (plus Buch & CP55) stacks up against the 2019 squad. I remember them as a fierce fore-checking team, with an ability to score grit goals, elite offensive-minded D. This team much in a similar mold. This team is also very, very fast.

You think MDR will make the playoffs? Looks like they have a shot at the east wild card.
