This is gonna be a good one! The Habs are playing good hockey right now but are still beatable. It'll be a good test for the Boys, I'm excited for this one!

Yep. Even though the Habs "lost" 3 of their last 6, the 3 were in OT.
It's going to be a tough one for our boys.

I’d love to bank 4 points tonight and Thursday before we have to travel to Denver

Does anyone know if the game will be blacked out on ESPN+ or not?

One of their biggest tests to get in the playoffs...Vancouver was the last competitive team.

One thing to not over look is the use of the goalies during this stretch. We'll see Binner tonight and I would expect to see Hofer Thursday vs. Nashville. This gives the Preds a different look to deal with.

This is a key advantage for the Blues. Hofer is in a groove, so run him out there ... help him keep his tempo. Keeps Binner rested and fresh to playoffs. Monty is sending multiple messages with this ... To the goalies: I have faith in both of you. To the players: I have faith in everybody on this team and we'll have a fresh Binner for the playoffs.

The other teams in this run are experiencing the downside of running with one horse. Vancouver's Lenkinen was starting to fizzle a bit before the Canuck's activated Demko off of IR (but it might be too late). We're seeing Utah's goaltending melt down without Ingram (watch the highlights from the Detroit game. Oof). Minny's running Gus into the ground IMO. Calgary is holding on, but for how long? A lot of games for Wolf.

Glad we did not trade Binner and dump Hofer when he had a bad game! I still feel better after each of them makes a couple of saves though.

Status report

Guhle made the trip but will not play; the defenseman has been out since Jan. 28. ... Sundqvist and Leddy each will play after missing a 4-1 win against the Nashville Predators on Sunday with an undisclosed injury. ... Leddy will replace Kessel, a defenseman, and Sundqvist will replace Dvorsky, a forward who made his NHL debut Sunday. ... Parayko skated Tuesday but Blues coach Jim Montgomery said the defenseman is not close to returning; he will miss his 10th straight game.
