Utah loses to Detroit. Nullifies their game in hand.

Listened to the Yeti broadcast vs the Redwings in Utah on XM NHL radio. They fell apart in the 3rd period. Some "non great" shots were going in for the wings, per the Yeti broadcast team. If I heard correctly, the Yeti only had 12 shots on goal with a minute left in the game. Wings had 20? SOG. Certainly not a "blizzard" of SOG produced. Wings goalie Mrazek got hurt in goal mouth collision 2 minutes into game so essentially the back up G Alex Lyons played the whole game. Suck it, Yeti !!!

So now we need to win our own games. If we are to falter it will be vs Montreal. We have played 2 mediocre games in a row. Maybe Buch plays and puts us back on target to help us win but Montreal has been a comeback team themselves

I hope the boys win, but even getting 1 point would be good. Then again, it's hard to win 3 against one team (Nashville). Crazy fun times.

The Minnesota broadcast team are fantastic. The pbp guy is on top of the flow and is expressive and dynamic. He barely takes a breath. When he does, the acerbic color guy is right there with an honest, concise, and relevant comment. He is on the dry side, but there is humor if you can stay caught up.

The Wild are hanging on by the ragged. edge. They played a tight and smart game, but they have zero firepower.
