like Kurt Warner and the Rams.
Kurt Warner had Isaac Bruce, Torey Holt, Marshall Faulk, Orlando Pace, etc.

He was not drafted high in the draft either - he was undrafted.

When the Rams went downhill, he went to NY and didn't make them better, then had a resurgence in ARI when they also had a great team including Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin.
Kurt actually did make the Giants better.

He was 5-4 and had them in playoff position when Tom Coughlin decided to pull the plug to start breaking in Eli Manning. Manning lost the next six before finally winning in the season finale, while Kurt (in typical Kurt fashion) supported Manning. Then in Arizona two coaches (Dennis Green and Whisenhunt) tried to start Matt Leinart over him only to eventually go back to Warner.

Hmm I won't dispute this at all. Kurt is a hell of a guy. Shoulda won that game against the Steelers.

Love that they introduced Warner into the discussion without realizing it contradicted the whole point

So what is your solution?

Armstrong has found no Top50 stars in the draft thus far, but you think that he is going to find the next Kurt Warner on skates in Round 8--ahead of all the other teams?

Some GMs can find a star in Round 3. Army is not one of them. Army is such a poor evaluator, he may miss with a pick in the TOP 5.

Army has zero TOP50 stars on his team. Do you think that that is just bad luck?

Like Parayko (literally a 3rd rounder) or Kyrou (2nd rounder)?
Tucker in round 7....bot a star, but what a find.

You're weirdly obsessed with this.

There is no 8th round, so yes, that would be impressive.
