Supplemental discipline for Bolduc?
Do you guys think we'll see Bolduc slapped with a fine or a suspension? It was a pretty vicious cross check to a player in a defenseless position. Which I'm fine with by the way as I can't stand the preds...

fine? perhaps. a slap on the wrist for a few grand won't really do much anyways, so if it happens i'd shrug.
suspension? pretty unlikely.

What is it about that team and city?
No matter who coaches, who plays........they are either diving or gooning or whining.
Their flop this year is hilarious....and Trotz has likely screwed them for a few more years for good measure.
Re: Supplemental discipline for Bolduc?
Cheap Tom Wilson-type play (sorry for redundancy), but agree with probably a fine but no suspension.
Bolduc lost his mind for a minute.

Re: Supplemental discipline for Bolduc?
they took a leg-leg run at him earlier in the game, and it LOOKED like they did the same to Thomas
maybe, just maybe that and all the other (bleep), he got tired of it and decided to do something about it
good for him

He didn't lose his mind. Nashville is dirty AF and tried the same thing earlier in the game. Bolduc is becoming one of my favorites.

Re: Supplemental discipline for Bolduc?
Deserves some sort of discipline but where's the outrage over Marcheshit taking a 10-stride running tackle into Broberg's head from behind?
Also, just watching the replay, March was so incensed and out of control, he didn't give a F about anything other than getting some revenge and not only was his hit on Broberg beyond dirty, it was a full second or two AFTER a whistle was blown.
If that doesn't get you a suspension in this league I don't know wth does.

Call them but call them fair and even.
This whole night was a zebra fiasco.

Indeed. I wanted a suspension when I thought it was just a dirty hit following a 50 ft charge. Now that I realized it was after a whistle ... I wish Bolduc had crosschecked him in the head. Okay, not really but ...dhsux wrote: ↑24 Mar 2025 08:39 amAnd that's the real problem here.blackinkbiz wrote: ↑24 Mar 2025 08:37 am Deserves some sort of discipline but where's the outrage over Marcheshit taking a 10-stride running tackle into Broberg's head from behind?

10000% lets not forget that overgrown OAF's McCarrons hit on Buch, which we still dont know what wrong and whether hes really 'sick'.ZouMiz2424 wrote: ↑24 Mar 2025 08:30 amHe didn't lose his mind. So screw them, he shouldve cross checked him higher so it wasnt on his padded pants.
Re: Supplemental discipline for Bolduc?
David Perron got a 6-game suspension a couple of years ago when playing for Detroit, when he dangerously ran a Senators player after the whistle for retaliation of a dirty close-to-head hit on Dylan Larkin. In addition, Marchessault's 3-4 massive slashes against Toropchenko were over the top.blackinkbiz wrote: ↑24 Mar 2025 08:37 am Deserves some sort of discipline but where's the outrage over Marcheshit taking a 10-stride running tackle into Broberg's head from behind?

We'll see how the NHL does...I do hope that neither of those referees get the assignment and extra money for refereeing any playoff games this year.
Re: Supplemental discipline for Bolduc?
What about supplemental discipline for the refs? I mean, at least 20 cross checks with a wet noodle, right?

Well worth it imho
Zack Bolduc has been fined $2,248.26, the maximum allowable under the CBA, for cross-checking against Nashville’s Nick Blankenburg.

Re: Supplemental discipline for Bolduc?
Toropchenko deserved two for cross checking or boarding, Marchessault at least one minor for slashing. Play ends, coincidental penalties.
From the overhead angle, it looked like Preds player clipped Binnington's stick while skating past net. I can see why refs may have thought Broberg tripped him. His stick was nearby, but not the cause of the trip.
That sequence was not well-managed by the officials.

Yep, McCarron deserves a hearing more than Bolduc.Natl20 wrote: ↑24 Mar 2025 09:35 am10000% lets not forget that overgrown OAF's McCarrons hit on Buch, which we still dont know what wrong and whether hes really 'sick'.ZouMiz2424 wrote: ↑24 Mar 2025 08:30 amHe didn't lose his mind.
