One month ago…..
February 23rd Blues chance to make the playoffs was 6.4%. We went on a 12-2-1 tear and now sit over 50%! What a ride the last 30 days has been.
Re: One month ago…..
I'm glad the GM didn't tear it down. Appears the guys in the room are, as well!
Re: One month ago…..
Sometimes not making a move and telling the team you have confidence they can make a run as is, makes and impact also.
I find it comical that Dallas was the team who went all on acquiring Rantanan, Grundland, and Ceci for three firsts, one second, and one third plus two players, and have gone 3-2-2 since.

One month ago I despised the 4-Nations Face off as a stupid gimmick.
Now I'm writing a letter to the NHL demanding it be played every season.

The idiot/dishonesty crew doing cartwheels like cheerleaders over maybe, maybe making the playoffs lol.

Nobody not Monty Army or anyone on here saw this coming. That said it’s great to see the transformation- it’s like a switch was flippedneverchange27 wrote: ↑23 Mar 2025 20:43 pmTear down. Winning is great. Lying about past events (claiming a “teardown” was on the table) is cowardly and dishonest. It’s the strident, melodramatic, truth-distorting Blueser gang on here 24/7.Bacchk29 wrote: ↑23 Mar 2025 20:55 pmNobody not Monty Army or anyone on here saw this coming. That isn’t true. Monty was the quantum shift. A GM with no clue would not make the trade for Fowler or waive Saad. These were clear signs that this season was not “over”for DA. With Monty’s obvious locker room mojo and the moves mentioned above, by late February you could see we had a very, very good team.Bacchk29 wrote: ↑23 Mar 2025 20:55 pmNobody not Monty Army or anyone on here saw this coming. If you didn’t see that… you were too scared to believe, or you are dyed in the wool tanker, or you were not paying steady attention to the changes in their play. It was a tiny bit fitful, but before the Four Nations Tournament, and certainly by the week of the trade deadline, this team was, obviously, deserving of a fair shot.

Re: One month ago…..
Waiving Saad showed the season was not over? Do you know what “waive” means? You have that part backwards.
Re: One month ago…..
They went 3-5-1 before the break and were playing some of their worst hockey of the year before the break. Try againHarry York 37 wrote: ↑23 Mar 2025 21:07 pmThat isn’t true. Re: One month ago…..
Harry amuses. DA did not and does not know very much. He’s a lame duck, burned out, blubbering GM. He is not Nostradamus lol. Blues fans, god bless them!
Re: One month ago…..
Great points. Can you imagine where this team would be with Saad? The guy was a passenger this year. What foresight to cut bait mid season and also pick up Fowler who has been resurgent.Harry York 37 wrote: ↑23 Mar 2025 21:07 pmThat isn’t true. Monty was the quantum shift. I'll always wonder how those conversations start and how the player is targeted.
