MAJOR Props To Matthew Joseph
The guy had a great game. Centering two guys who haven’t played much if any, they gave up no goals and scored one. He was outstanding on the PK and you knew it when he was on the ice.

He has been a stalwart for a while. He played passable center on the third line until they settled on Sunny. He is Nathan Walker with insane speed. He lacks a bit of Walker’s confidence and swagger, and his mitts are not as silky, but he is a stellar teammate and an easy choice to dress for an important hockey game.

I jokingly thought he might have been a DEI hire.
Now I'd be p*ssed if he were traded or sat for anyone short of perhaps Snuggerud.
He's been very impressive.

I think it speaks volumes about what the coaching staff thinks of him that they had him center Texia and the prize prospect making his debut.
Re: MAJOR Props To Matthew Joseph
I thought he looked good early on, so not too surprised by his latest resurgence, but it's still a bit of a pleasant surprise.
I saw a lot of posts on here lambasting the guy or calling him JAG - well he is pretty close to JAG, but the kind you need to be a contender. His speed kills, and IMO he really has a knack for making the smart play and going to the right areas. The blocked shot and near shorty last night was awesome.
His brother needed to go, but I like what Mathieu brings.

I mentioned a few games ago that this team has developed confidence and an attitude, bordering on cockiness. It’s great to see and Joseph and Bolduc are two great examples of it.
