Can't wait. I can almost smell the pork steaks on the grill!
Funny, this time of year I am so tired of Spring Training that I don't do anything more than just check the box score. Let's get on with real baseball!

I will start with black Starbucks coffee, switch to DR Pepper later. Herb- Runtz OG. Chow- grilled burgers with onion pickle and mustard.
Re: 1 week away
Pork Steaks, coffee, Dr. Pepper, and horses won't effect the standings. The Brewers, Cubs, Reds and, maybe Pirates, will be better.

Only 200 days until Mo is gone, and hopefully Oli too. I can’t wait until Bloom, Cerfolio and company officially take the reins.
Re: 1 week away
Been a long snowy winter in Colorado - at least where I live. Avg 5' of snow by end of June. This year we currently are at 7'. Tuesday 7-8" of snow with +40 winds. Today 55 degrees and sunny - go figure.
The period in February leading up to ST and the last week of ST seem to drag on forever. Evidently the baseball gods have put those time periods in place to raise the fans desire for the "good stuff" on the 27th. Ribeye steaks with wife's bourbon marinade. Great start to 2025 season.

Let's hope they can have half the success Mo has had over the last 30 years.BrockFloodMaris wrote: ↑20 Mar 2025 10:36 am Only 200 days until Mo is gone, and hopefully Oli too. I can’t wait until Bloom, Cerfolio and company officially take the reins.

Perfect way to see opening day at Busch.
Re: 1 week away
I would bet that they will definitely have the Clydesdales and the Hall of Famers come out on the field, but the question is, how many of the Hall of Famers will show up and will the DeWitts and Mo even show their faces?
I’d say there will be several former players not show up and that the Dewitts and Mo won’t go out onto the field. They won’t want to face the Boos that they know are waiting for them! If they do, I’ll give them credit for facing up to the criticism. Then again they may still think they’ve not done anything wrong and won’t understand why they’re being booed!
