There's the Miles we know and should be DFA'd by Memorial Day
you can't exactly dfa your IP leader. This staff will need the coverage.
C r a pp y innings are meaningless and can be covered easily by giving the young arms their shot.
How'd that work out in 2007? A Reyes 2-14??? We still had to sign below replacement level junkballers that were much worse than MM throwing 180 IP of 4.5+ ERA.
This isn't 2007, it's 2025.
This is the year they want to see what the KIDS can do, who gives a c r a p about Mikolas and his innings eating this season?

There will be plenty of chances for the kids who are ready. We've already dropped Lynn, Gibson, and Kitt from last year - how many innings does that open up? And Matz won't last the season without injury. Plenty of room for the Kids and still needing a veteran who can go every 5th day without having to worry about injury etc.

McGreevy is READY now.
Agree Matz will see the IL before the all-star break (unless we get the "amazing" free agent walk year w/no injury season).
Again, why can't Mo deal him w/the solid spring he's having?
