C r a pp y innings are meaningless and can be covered easily by giving the young arms their shot.
How'd that work out in 2007? A Reyes 2-14??? We still had to sign below replacement level junkballers that were much worse than MM throwing 180 IP of 4.5+ ERA.
This isn't 2007, it's 2025.

This is the year they want to see what the KIDS can do, who gives a c r a p about Mikolas and his innings eating this season?

There will be plenty of chances for the kids who are ready. We've already dropped Lynn, Gibson, and Kitt from last year - how many innings does that open up? And Matz won't last the season without injury. Plenty of room for the Kids and still needing a veteran who can go every 5th day without having to worry about injury etc.

Agree Matz will see the IL before the all-star break (unless we get the "amazing" free agent walk year w/no injury season).

Again, why can't Mo deal him w/the solid spring he's having? :?
