I appreciate the list and summary of all the off season moves.
Everyone knows that most of the moves will be busts but what’s exciting about baseball is players break out and when they do and they were acquired cheap it’s a big deal.
I think a few players such as Barrero, Anderson and Helman have a decent shot at being good contributors to the 2025 roster.

This is the dumbest thread started on Cards Talk in an awfully long time

I will pin it... and bump it all season, when we see that 99% of those players don't even make an MLB appearance for us

The list involves players who will vie for a major league job all the way down to 17 year olds. Many won’t be in a position to vie for a major league job for many years, Lloyd. Sorry of you misread the list. If the list bothers you, suggest you just ignore it.

Cranny two seasons ago you told us Mo had 6-7 SP and so many viable OFers it would be hard to find playing time for all.
We ended the season with 2 terrible ML SP for the big club and we still don’t have ANY fulltime close to All-star OFers….
I’m not sure you’re here for the same reasons the rest of us are. If you enjoy watching he youngster in a uni at the lower levels great but to somehow advance that as progress or success or whatever for the MLB Cardinals is ridiculous. Most players you list won’t sniff the ML
We’re tired of the same [nonsense] brought to us by BDW/MO….. we want an entertaining dominant NL Central division team who can make some hay in the playoffs, short of that you will continue to receive blowback attempting to put lipstick on pig

They sure don’t look like a pig today, Goldfan. Are you absolutely sure they will be a pig this season?
