Re: Arenado
Just curious as to why you ask that. I haven't seen many games. Is he showing that attitude?

Re: Arenado
Not an NA fan. They should have forced him into a trade. But here is the deal. None of us know what his attitude is or will be. He does not appear to be the leadership type but we don’t know that.
Did he refuse trades because his ego would only allow him to play for certain teams? Does he love St Louis so much he is willing to play his last good years for a mediocre team? Or is he approaching season with something to prove?
I’m hoping for the latter.

Re: Arenado
I was thinking he'd be traded sometime during ST. Running out of time for that, so it looks like he's going to be our starting 3B this year. This means he'll likely be traded (Julyish) to someone looking to bolster their lineup for a pennant run. With that in mind, his attitude should be good as he'll want his trade value to be as high as possible. If by some miracle the Cards are in the thick of it his attitude should be great. Ergo, I'm not worried about his attitude.Jatalk wrote: ↑18 Mar 2025 10:44 am Not an NA fan. They should have forced him into a trade. But here is the deal. You don’t think him telling Mo he wants out and lobbying on social media all offseason might convey a great desire to not be here?BrummerStealsHome wrote: ↑18 Mar 2025 10:48 amI was thinking he'd be traded sometime during ST. Re: Arenado
Will he sulk and poison the team?
Too soon to tell.
Regardless, in recent years the team has been constructed to solely pursue the agenda of specific protected veteran players.
N/A is merely continuing the trend in putting self above the team and self above the game.
Cardinal Way.
TOXIC CULTURE.
Re: Arenado
A good owner should never do that to a player who waived his NTC to come here. That is bad karma for signing any future big FAs. Loyalty needs to work both ways but it has to start at the top.Jatalk wrote: ↑18 Mar 2025 10:44 am Not an NA fan. They should have forced him into a trade. But here is the deal. He was posting Dodger Blue all offseason
He checked out when he told MO he wanted to be traded
We’ll see more inattentive unproductive aloof play this year than last
