Mo's Farewell Tour
We've had his final off-season, now having his last spring training. Next up- Mo's last opening day. Those of you who show up- please make sure you show him how much we appreciate all he has done. Could be that Maton was his final free agent signing. One more draft and one more trade deadline. Buh-bye.

The Boos will most certainly be loud and proud
Re: Mo's Farewell Tour
What will the other teams be gifting Mo during his farewell tour?

Are you that callous?Talkin' Baseball wrote: ↑17 Mar 2025 12:38 pmHe was caught so off guard last year on opening day when he was booed. Do you think he is brave enough to be announced to the crowd this year? He acted like his feelings were hurt.

He’s been out there every single year, it would look awfulTalkin' Baseball wrote: ↑17 Mar 2025 12:38 pmHe was caught so off guard last year on opening day when he was booed. Do you think he is brave enough to be announced to the crowd this year? He acted like his feelings were hurt.
For him if he chose not to on his last year because he knew he wasn’t going to get greeted with cheers. Will that factor into his decision? I guess we will see. He’s always been all about his ego. But hiding like a little sissy girl for a year will just make his exit that much more anticipated with the fanbase

They've got Mikolas and Matz in the rotation with McGreevy at Memphis. They've got Siani on the roster and Scott headed to Memphis. He's going to do a halfway sell-off for terrible returns at the deadline. You want to see a strong offense? Just wait for the interviews he gives leading up to and following the trade deadline. Offensive indeed. There really isn't anything that could make his departure any more anticipated.Banner29 wrote: ↑17 Mar 2025 12:53 pmHe’s been out there every single year, it would look awfulTalkin' Baseball wrote: ↑17 Mar 2025 12:38 pmHe was caught so off guard last year on opening day when he was booed. That's not the Cardinal Way (at least, Mo's version of it). He has lived by The Golden Rule and treated others the way he would want to be treated. He kept Waino when he lost his fastball. He keeps Mikolas when he can't miss any bats, He kept Yadi when he had all the mobility of a tree stump. He kept Carpenter when he could no longer hit. We kept them and celebrated them. Mo has lost his fastball but still gets his victory lap.rockondlouie wrote: ↑17 Mar 2025 13:14 pm I'm hoping now that's he's done all he can to carry out BDWJr payroll slashing plan (sans dealing NADO Mo simply fades away like an old soldier.

He's a millionaire who runs the baseball side of an underperforming billion-dollar enterprise. I don't give a (bleep) if his feelings are hurt or not.thetank2 wrote: ↑17 Mar 2025 12:45 pmAre you that callous?Talkin' Baseball wrote: ↑17 Mar 2025 12:38 pmHe was caught so off guard last year on opening day when he was booed. He kept Waino to sell tickets.Talkin' Baseball wrote: ↑17 Mar 2025 13:26 pmThat's not the Cardinal Way (at least, Mo's version of it). He "kept" Mikolas because he got stuck w/that pathetic extension he and BDWJr gave him.
Yadi wasn't kept, he retired at the right time.
Carp, another stupid extension and brought back to sell tickets.
He needs to start fading into the background and move aside for the new regime.
