And this is a weak draft anyway. Let's build the core...Holloway, Bolduc, Neighbours, etc.

That 2 weeks off for the 4 Nations has been an absolute godsend for this team. There simply is no other way to put it.

It got Binnington his focus back, put Parayko on another level(until his injury), and allowed the coaches to properly install Monty's system.

The Blues are playing exactly like they did in 2022 when he was an advisor.

Not to be lost in all of this but Holloway has essentially been a ppg player since Monty took over. Schenn has been an absolute beast, and Kyrou has played a far better all around game. I can't remember the last game the Blues were outshot in fact, it's been a while.

If they can get better on the PK, I like this team, and they will absolutely be a playoff team next season.

That is the difference. Instead of sitting on my hand, I am often at the edge of my seat when we shoot. The passes are shorter and crisper.

Agree with everything you said Jack. Especially giving time for Monty to get his players all on the same page for him. You can see it. They all know where each other is on almost every play. The pursuit is just awesome. And just like that, the Blues look like the fastest team out there.

I can’t believe Holloway’s progression this year. Somehow Joseph is paid more than Holloway(I know, free agent vs rfa). If either Snuggerud or Dvorsky(less likely) can come up and contribute this season, it could really help the skill aspect of line 3.
