Same rationale for Winn at leadoff. Or Siani at leadoff. Pure utter incompetence. Called the "smartest man in the room syndrome".

He wouldn't be my choice to start in centerfield. In fact, I probably wouldn't put him on the 26 man roster. The "love" comes from the fact that it is a pleasure to watch him play centerfield. he is really good with the glove.

The time he's getting playing is taking away from other options. Hell, move Noot to center and play any of the young options in left. Koperniak, Church, or put Donovan in left and try Prieto at 2nd. Siani is a dead spot in the lineup. He couldn't hang in Cincy and his offense is dragging down the Cards too. Please, enough with the Siani playing time.
Bigger mystery- love for Siani or Winn at leadoff. Explain either.

Herrera (C)
Contreras (1B)
Donovan
Winn (SS)
Arenado (3B)
Burleson
Nootbaar (CF)
Walker
Gorman

These 9 should be the lineup. The 4 I didn't list positions for can go however and batting order can go however. But it needs to be these 9.

Makes no sense from a talent perspective.

But he fits the blue collar city mold & Mo plays favorites.

That can be huge in CF.
Of course his bat is weak. Sadly it was coming around prior to him getting injured.
Coming around as in God awful to very bad maybe.

K's a 1/3 of the time with 0 pop.

Best thing about him is he can bunt really well.

Do people need to explain ST to you?
Was it ST when he played last year? S[top] T[hose] F[raudulent] U[tterances]
Apparently people do need to explain ST. How'd VS2 do last year in ST and then at MLB?
LOL...comparing the very talented Scott with a castoff from Cincy. You're brilliant. Scott has more talent on his worst day than Siani will have in his entire career. One needs to play and one needs to be gone. Which would you choose?
Reading is hard, but comprehension beyond you...I can't help you.

Good luck with that... I'll type slower next time

If this is truly a see what you have year leave them alone until July. Replace as warranted.

Don’t mind it until the last name, please no on Fermin. He’s got a .504 career OPS in the MLB in 140 PA.

Saggese needs to be playing everyday. That's why I put him in Memphis. Fermin will sit most days. That is why.

a really poor mans Gary Pettis
Or Miles Straw. Can go get them, just can't hit them.

He's a 4/5 OF on a good team or a starter on a so-so team but people should stop acting as if he's blocking the next Mantle or Trout.

The three CF options all come with downside(s):
Noot- Can’t stay healthy. Up and down offensively.
Defensive range could be an issue considering who plays the corners?
Scott- Struggled initially last season. May have highest ceiling for the position?
Siani- GG defense. Great at moving runners over from the #9 slot. Could be an automatic out.

For what it’s worth, I could live with Siani in the #9 slot if others would start holding their own at the plate.
