Bloom still has too much to learn from Mo; and Bloom is a slow learner.rockondlouie wrote: ↑12 Mar 2025 08:56 am This is Mo's Golden Parachute season, only kept around to slash the payroll so it wouldn't (and shouldn't) be on C. Bloom's watch.

I'd imagine that he's done what he's probably always excelled at, which is chap his lips on the bareside of DeWitt's (donkey).Shady wrote: ↑11 Mar 2025 17:18 pm Just curious. Maybe there are responsibilities he has that aren't obvious. If he really means a reset. He needs to move at least two of these three before the season starts to create spots for younger players. Those three are Arenado, Gray and Fedde. I realize two of the three have NTCs.
I’ll bet Bloom didn’t make all those moves without discussing them with Mo and getting his approval.craviduce wrote: ↑11 Mar 2025 21:18 pmBloom made those Minor League coaching adjustments. His recommendation and moves, based off what he saw and feed back from 2024 in the minors, Cranny. Mo doesn't get credit for that.Cranny wrote: ↑11 Mar 2025 20:58 pmHe signed 29 players this off season, oversaw all the new sophisticated equipment that has been purchased, oversaw the hirings of all the new coaches and roving coaches, and is overseeing a huge renovation project at Roger Dean stadium in Jupiter. Other than that, not much.
I thought the best thing he did was moving Leger (AA manager) and Gilkey (1B coach, fielding coach at Palm Beach) to centralized roles in the Minors...they'll rove around to all the leagues. Smartest managers/coaches in the organization.
The biggest travesty was promoting Anderson (Peoria Manager) to Springfield....he's a butcher of pitching arms
Bloom needed 2 years after being fired before his contract was up in Boston.hilton head is 4 idiots wrote: ↑12 Mar 2025 09:40 amBloom still has too much to learn from Mo; and Bloom is a slow learner.rockondlouie wrote: ↑12 Mar 2025 08:56 am This is Mo's Golden Parachute season, only kept around to slash the payroll so it wouldn't (and shouldn't) be on C. Yeah, I hope he can accomplish even half the overall success that Mo had. If Bloom pays attention to what Mo teaches, Bloom should do a better job than he did in Boston.thetank2 wrote: ↑12 Mar 2025 15:54 pmBloom needed 2 years after being fired before his contract was up in Boston.hilton head is 4 idiots wrote: ↑12 Mar 2025 09:40 amBloom still has too much to learn from Mo; and Bloom is a slow learner.rockondlouie wrote: ↑12 Mar 2025 08:56 am This is Mo's Golden Parachute season, only kept around to slash the payroll so it wouldn't (and shouldn't) be on C. It's stunning that DeTwit and Mo-ran are tearing this team down and the front office (donkey) kissers continue to argue with anyone who disagrees...but, I'm betting that Tanker the Wanker is a sock.
He did a great job with the minor league system in Boston. When he was forced to trade Mookie, he went out of favor with the fans.hilton head is 4 idiots wrote: ↑12 Mar 2025 17:01 pmYeah, I hope he can accomplish even half the overall success that Mo had. DeWitt, Mo, and Bloom were all well aware of who had No Trade Clause contracts.Cranny wrote: ↑12 Mar 2025 17:36 pmHe did a great job with the minor league system in Boston. Mo, through a lack of off season activity, is giving him a lot of flexibility going forward with the Cards.
The minor league system waits to be seen. You need to get lucky in the draft. Will there be a Mookie Betts coming out of their draft?Cranny wrote: ↑12 Mar 2025 17:36 pmHe did a great job with the minor league system in Boston. The minor league pitching was recently rated #3 among 30 organizations. Where he needs to work is on better development of position players, like Davis. And perhaps adding several more through a trade as well.thetank2 wrote: ↑12 Mar 2025 19:35 pmThe minor league system waits to be seen. You need to get lucky in the draft. I don't think Boston fans are missing Bloom. I hope he is better than Maxvill.
