Re: Perunovich for a 5th
Perunovich got an. assist in a win over Colorado.
Colorado is struggling like Vancouver was before facing us..but can we beat them(?). For a different thread.

Tough times for Scott Perunovich he was a minus 4 in his last game vs the Rags he only played a handful of games in February
9gp 0 3 -3 with the Isles. I really thought he might stick given another chance

What I want to know is what Blues Scout(s) liked Perunovich. Those guys should be sent out of town on the same truck as Perunovich.

Nothing wrong with the pick. Some guys can make the jump and some can’t. No telling how things might have gone if he could have stayed healthy.sdaltons wrote: ↑28 Feb 2025 09:02 amYes! You make it seem like it was random he didnt work out.
The reality is hes too small to play defense in the NHL. That's why he can neither stick in a lineup or stay healthy. The talent he has offensively pales in comparison to the liability of his defense. If he had elite physical skills maybe itd be a diffetrnt story but thats not the case.

So why don't we hire some 6th grade girls to do our scouting? They could let us know who the finalists for the Hobey Baker award was every year. No more analysis needed--evidently. They could sell girl scout cookies on the side while they are at it.sdaltons wrote: ↑28 Feb 2025 09:02 amYes! Tkachuk should spend more time making kids, and less time evaluating if the other kids are any good at hockey.Frank Underwood wrote: ↑28 Feb 2025 08:44 amHe was a favorite of Keith Tkachuk.a smell of green grass wrote: ↑28 Feb 2025 08:25 am What I want to know is what Blues Scout(s) liked Perunovich. It's ok to take a chance sometimes. Probably mostly they don't work out but when they do, it really really pays off.a smell of green grass wrote: ↑28 Feb 2025 10:32 amSo why don't we hire some 6th grade girls to do our scouting? But anyway I know you are fully committed to discrediting everyone in the front office, so there's really no point in continuing with you. It's going to be ok. Enjoy.

I'm fully committed to calling out what the problem is because few are.
As Perunovich was leaving town, Armstrong was ONLY concerned with "blowing kisses" to Perunovich on his way out. Are you f-ing serious? Don't waste your breadth and my time with that.
Army should be "explaining the reason for the Perunovich failure" to the faithful fans in St Louis. It's called accountability.
