78-84. Our young hitters progress, however our pitching is abysmal.

Last in the Central. Only the Rockies and Marlins will have worse records in the NL.
That’s deep. I would think lots of bad baseball will have to be played to attain 90 losses. The objective in this rebuild is to see growth and promise from those who can, and again cut fat next off season for those who don’t “ cut” it. Then add.

You could be right.
The roster may be as good as it gets today.

86-76.
Talk about confidence. That’s almost post season level.
It's what sad about this season being the one
to not add.

Doom and gloom in spring, not my thing. That and since you said there'd be another
opportunity to adjust, why not? I should move it up to 87 since Rock picked the same number.

We do this every year. I don’t know if anyone ever gets close to their predictions.

So let’s do it again, but let’s play X treme predicting- two opportunities to give predictions.

First record prediction is now, three games into ST. Next vote will be last day of ST. You can then update your first choice.

On that day, I will pull up the thread, and we revisit it. Then wait 162 games to see who’s closest:

Me- cool team, not great, signs of growth , .500 at 81-81.

Next.
And what's the grand prize , bulldog ? :D oh and one question, do Price is Right rules apply ? If your guess is one over the final win number , does a person who guessed 2 under become the winner ? lol

The grand prize is friendly banter with our fellow fan. Ha.

Only the direct hit counts. And as mentioned, we never remember who they are.

76-86. The FO will be proud of that. Moe will be 10 under for his special send off.

This is like throwing darts IMO. I can honestly see anywhere between 75 wins and 90 wins.

I'll go 85-77 being an optimist. I just hope that isn't good enough to save Marmol's job. The record is contingent on Gray, Fedde, Pallante being + starters, bullpen remaining relatively healthy and the offense getting much needed production from Walker and Gorman.

This. Premature speculation.

88-74. Winners of the NL Central. I don't think the Cubs did enough to strong arm the division and the Brewers lost Devin Williams and Willy Adames. Tito coaching the Reds should give them a bump. I just have a feeling we're going to be better than we were last year. Who knows, guess we'll find out soon enough.
