One Hundred Years Of Solitude

I vaguely seem to remember trying to read the novel at some point, but gave up. Anyway, there is a very well crafted 8 episode mini-series, you can sub or watch in Engrish, out on Netflix. Enjoying it. Just an FYI.

As a fan of the book and a member of a partly Colombian household, I can say this is a very well-done adaptation. The acting is uneven but it captures the magical realism of Gabo's world famous novel and is beautiful to look it (exquisite set/production design that the Colombians are very proud was done all in-country).

There is a 2nd half that will be releasing sometime this year, no clue why they would release it in two parts when they filmed the whole thing together.
