Has anyone heard anything recent about Jackson Cantwell? Seems like Missouri would have a good shot given his connections. I wonder if Drinkwitz was able to talk with him when Nixa went to CoMo for the state title game.
I'm sure Drink was able to do anything within the limits. That's a high probability.
Cantwell never wondered about the very slight possibility that Drink would not.
Please enlighten us readers how you know what Jackson wondered or didn't wonder. Are you a friend of the family? Perhaps a clairvoyant? Or maybe just a liar...
You don't need to be clairvoyant to understand the recruiting process and the power of 'just being there'
And it's highly probable that Drink did the same with his DeSmet recruits.

I'm glad to see Nebraska off the list. Their proximity and their track and field coach worried me. The track coach is a very well respected throwing coach who has already coached several national champions. Of course, Jackson has his own Champion in the family. Also his mom is from Nebraska. So now my main concern is Oregon.
The in-state Tigers will be another school in it until the end, and Eli Drinkwitz and Co. have made Cantwell their No. 1 priority.
“It’s really tough to get away from Missouri because they put such a huge emphasis on in-state guys. That’s their biggest recruiting priority right now,” he said. “Coach Drinkwitz wants to get in-state guys. Try to make it tough as possible for guys to leave the state.”
1. Yes, those pop-ups definitely suck, to the point where the site is essentially unusable.
2. I don't believe every other recruiting service missed the signing of the #1 recruit in the country. They're hoping for a scoop.

You just have to be smarter than the computer to make it usable. Maybe some day.
So, I'll let you know the article states it's a commitment, because anyone who knows college football understands he can't sign until December.

Let us all know when it can be proven that you're more useful than a bent spoon. Then you can post a link to ANY other legitimate news source the Cantwell has verbally committed. By the way, time to turn your calendar page; December has come and gone.
