Lost Tables

Post by edwin drood »

Fun site for long time St. Louisans. Dozens of long-gone and recently gone eateries. I've been to many. Heads up, Clark.

It was at Culpeppers in the Central West End that I first heard of, and had chicken wings. Loved theirs.

Just in case anyone might be interested, there is also this site:

https://www.lostdishes.com/

Lost Dishes is a companion to the Lost Tables website, which looks back fondly at the iconic St. Louis restaurants which created these special dishes.

Anyone remember Sherwood Forrest that was in Florissant near Hanley and 270?

Also in Florrissant was a pizza place called Abracadabra that had magicians walking around. Closed around 1980.
