What did you think about Netflix series "Baby Reindeer"?

I am just now starting to watch S1, E1 of "Baby Reindeer" and already am kind of hooked. There aren't many movies or TV series, let's face it, about such an unattractive couple as these two. However, this first episode promises some very interesting, unexpected turns.

I was single and unmarried for a long, long time. So.....

Like the male protagonist, I tended bar and saw the occasional desperate woman hoping to be picked up, sometimes waiting until after closing time with the bartender, and I always knew I was not a matinee idol; she was just not going home alone that night. Fortunately, nothing ever connected us permanently.

Like him, I did standup comedy and heard crickets.

Like him, I dated someone whose background check --- after marriage --- caused me to want to disappear. Fortunately, the divorce judge totally freed me.

Like the protagonist, I had an obsessed stalker --- from these forums, no less --- whom I thought was a friend, who became dangerously unhinged, right before our eyes, for which I still have 83 e-mails. At least, unlike this show's Crazy Lady[/i], my stalker's spelling was excellent.
