For those who have Win10 machines 'incapable' of upgrading to Win11

Post by MikoTython »

Apparently no more Win10 updates :(. OK, its been awhile.

Looks like the impediments Microsoft imposes are artificial, amount to no more than a few registry settings. I have two Win10 machines I don't want to lose content of in the shuffle, so I will

a. try to make them Win11 'compatible' using rufus,

or failing that

b. use some sort of migration facility for newer machines

Will let you know how it works out in the coming weeks...
